Welcome to JB Scrap! These Terms & Conditions outline the rules, guidelines, and regulations for the use of JB Scrap's Online Scrap Collection Services and website, located at jbscrap.com.

By scheduling a doorstep pickup, requesting quotes through our forms, or accessing this website, you accept these Terms & Conditions in full. Do not continue to use JB Scrap's services if you do not agree to all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

1. Services Rendered

JB Scrap agrees to provide professional doorstep scrap pickup services in Ahmedabad. Accepted materials include, but are not limited to:

• Iron (Lokhand): Rods, heavy machinery scrap, structural iron waste.
• Copper: Electric wiring, copper tubes, motor scrap, and heavy copper.
• Aluminium Scrap: Window frames, structural fittings, and utensils.
• Brass Scrap: Valves, plumbing fittings, and decorative hardwares.

We do not accept hazardous materials, chemicals, biohazard wastes, or stolen property. We reserve the right to decline collection of any material at our discretion.

2. Doorstep Pickup & Scheduling

Customers may request a pickup via our online booking form or by calling/messaging us directly. While we strive to honor all scheduled times, booking requests are subject to confirmation based on truck routing and team availability.

In the event of a change in schedule, we will communicate the new pickup slot in advance.

3. Weights & Pricing Validation

Transparency is one of our core pillars:

• Market Rates: Scrap rates are subject to change based on global commodity markets. Rates are finalized and communicated before the material is loaded.
• Weighing Accuracy: All items are weighed on-site using precise, certified digital scales in front of the customer.
• Weight Agreement: Once the weight is logged and agreed upon on-site, it is considered final for billing and payout calculations.

4. Payments

Payouts for all scrap collections are settled instantly on-site at the time of pickup.

• Payment Methods: We provide immediate payments via Cash or UPI Bank Transfer (GPay, PhonePe, Paytm, or bank account transfer) according to customer preference.
• Identity Verification: For high-value transactions or industrial pickups, we may request a basic identification proof (e.g., Aadhaar Card or GST Number) to comply with local trade regulations.

5. Site Access & Safety

To ensure a safe and successful pickup, the customer is responsible for:

• Clear Access: Providing a secure path for our collection trucks and personnel to reach the scrap storage area.
• Safety of Materials: Ensuring the scrap does not pose immediate physical hazards (e.g., loaded with live electrical currents or toxic substances).
• Safe Environment: Providing a workspace free of hostile conditions and ensuring pets are secured during loading.

6. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Gujarat, India. Any legal disputes or claims arising out of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
